How to Manage and Motivate for Better Performance

Understanding a person's behavioural style will allow you to evaluate their fit for certain job roles and their preferences for communicating with others.

DISC theory, researched by Dr. William Moulton Marston at Harvard University, is a method of identifying predictable actions and personality traits within human behaviour.  Marston narrowed these predictable personality traits into four DISC personality types.

Understanding the four personality types: Dominance, Influence, Steadiness and Compliance helps managers understand an individuals fears, motivators, values and behaviours.

During this 60 minute webinar we discussed:

  • The four personality types

  • How to motivate individuals for better performance dependent on their type
